Requirement #1

Share a story from the newspaper, television, book or radio of someone being a good citizen. Tie this requirement in with Working it Out Try-it.

Requirement #3

Every troop needs rules, no matter where you choose to meet. Has your troop made rules. Post them for the girls to see. Even better let the girls make the rules of what they think the rules should be discuss them with your girls.

Requirement #4

Each time a decision has to be made have the girls vote. Even 1st graders can vote.  Something simple like do we want to go to camp for 1 night or two, or which try-it do you want to work on first. Discuss with the girls about the activities to be voted on and why the winning activity won.
